Bill Schneider's Main Street Jazz Band is a seven-piece group playing around the Ventura County area venues since 1995. They play traditional Dixieland-style music in the key of Ragtime. All of their tunes come from the 30s and 40s and consist of recording artists such as Red Nichols, Louis Armstrong, Doc Daughterly, and Ray Charles, to name a few.

This fantastic group of musicians provides an energetic interpretation of contemporary standards in a Dixie style that will make you want to get up and dance, tap your feet or sing along. The current lineup in the band is Jack Wassel on trumpet; Andrew Ermek on cornet; Jim Richardson on sax and clarinet; Ken Lewis on stand-up bass; Richard Vanderwick on drums; and Bill Schneider, Jr. on guitar and vocals.
